Good quality filter at a good price , very slightly bigger than the ford one fitted to my 2018 petrol 1.5 ecoboost kuga, so a bit of a squeeze but fitted OK. Only 3 stars for ease of fitting but that's down to where ford have put the filter box which is in the passenger foot well and behind some wiring looms all very tight and dark needed a
Pull the old filter straight and replace with then new Volkswagen Routan cabin filter with the air flow arrow pointing down. Replace all pieces back in the reverse order (cabin air filter housing cover, glove box compartment, all screws). Pictures can be different from one car to another but the procedure is the same.

Firstly, undo the 4x 7mm retaining bolts. Carefully lift away the air filter box. View of air filter cover. Air filter in position. Lift out the air filter. Clean off any debris on the surface of the filter. Replace with a new filter if heavily contaminated. Check air filter box for debris. Clean if required, or replace the air filter.

First, turn off the car and park it safely. Go to the passenger side and locate the fuse box in the lower area of the glove box. Proceed with its removal by unscrewing the screws present with a 13mm wrench. Then locate the filter box on the side and remove the cover. Finally, replace the old filter with the new one.
