I just switched over to 5w20 Mobil 1 synthetic yesterday, and used a K&N (P/N#: HP-2010) oil filter. It took a full 8 quarts. A 10 minute cool-down, and a later, completely-cold measurement resulted in the line being just below the top

A lifter failed in my grand cherokee and caused the cam shaft and a bearing to go bad so I'm looking for a new 5.7l hemi v8 engine to put into my jeep. There is a ram truck engine (5.7l v8) for sale, but there isn't much information on the internet about swapping the engines. Is the swap possible? Thanks.
The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee models with 3.6 Pentastar V6 or 5.7 Hemi V8 engines use 5W-20 engine oil, whereas the models with 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 and 6.4L Hemi V8 engines use the 5E-40 and 0E-40 engine oils, respectively.
